James Bond drinks vodka Martinis, shaken; sensible people drink Martinis the way they’re meant to be: with gin, stirred. Consider the Vesper a compromise, using both vodka and gin, as well as Lillet vermouth.
- 3 ounces (oz) of gin
- 1 ounce (oz) of vodka
- 1/2 ounces (oz) of lillet blanc aperitif
- lemon twist
Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir (or, if preparing the Bond way, shake).
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Twist a slice of lemon peel over the drink, rub along the rim of the glass, and drop it in.
Great place to stop in from a chaotic Times Square adventure! The coffee is great, the drinks are creative and the staff is very nice and hospitable. Cant wait to stop in again. Without a doubt 5 stars from me!!
Staff was very accommodating but the chef were no nonsense. The ambiance is clean and tranquil which is perfect if youre looking to have a conversation with a date or a friend.
